Care Instructions

This Evergreen sage velvet jacket is handmade with detailed embroidery on natural cotton velvet. A pale base with dark thread needs some care to stop the green from bleeding, so:

• Dry clean only (recommended). Take your jacket to a professional cleaner to preserve its shape and prevent the forest green threads from bleeding.
• Steam gently at home using a handheld steamer to remove wrinkles safely.
• Hand wash in cold water only if strictly necessary, and avoid soaking for a long time.
• Never use a washing machine.
• Never iron directly on the embroidery. A hot iron can damage the threads of the leaf pods and folk flowers.
• Store on a hanger, away from direct sunlight, to protect the sage base and the leaf pods and folk flowers.
