Handmade & Artisan Story

This teal velvet bag with embroidery is hand-stitched by artisans working in small batches. The gold and blush threadwork goes on petal by petal, over several hours. Because it’s made entirely by hand, no two bags come out perfectly identical. That’s a big part of what makes each one genuinely one of a kind.

• Exterior: 100% cotton velvet in peacock teal, hand-embroidered with cotton and silk thread in golden mustard, blush pink, periwinkle and sage green
• Lining: cotton
• Closure: concealed zip at the top opening
• Interior: one slip pocket
• Handles: velvet, with a velvet bow attached at the top

Care Instructions

Peacock-teal velvet with gold and blush embroidery is happiest when it’s handled lightly. A few rules:

• Spot clean only. Take a soft dry cloth, or one lightly dampened with mild soap, and dab. Don’t rub or scrub the embroidered front.
• No machine wash, no tumble dryer, no soaking, no bleach.
• Air dry flat, away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Don’t iron the teal velvet pile directly.
• Store it stuffed with tissue paper inside a breathable dust bag, away from direct light. It keeps the teal pile and the gold and blush thread in good shape and holding their color
