Every Suzani jacket in this collection has the same relaxed silhouette, velvet on the outside, cotton lining on the inside, long sleeves, wide cuffs and a standing collar. What makes each velvet jacket unique is entirely down to the hands of the artisan who embroidered it: The thread colors, the motifs, the density of the stitching, the inner lining. The embroidery on our jackets is precise and hand worked, the colors hold together as a palette whether in bold colors or more muted pastel ones, the motifs feel distinct. Some of our jackets lean more traditional like the paisley scroll patterns while others are more contemporary with scattered hearts, flowers, candies or wavy patterns. A handheld steamer handles wrinkles safely, while direct heat from an iron can damage the stitching. * Hand wash only if truly necessary. In cold water, without soaking, and never in the washing machine. * Store on a hanger, away from direct sunlight, to keep the colors from fading.
